Si, c'è la crisi, nun se fatica, e uno si arrangia come può, ma sinceramente, mettendo da parte per un momento la questione morale, chi te lo fa fare di alzarti la mattina, infilare la calzamaglia ed andare a rapinare una banca A NEW YORK? Ci sarà una media di un supereroe ogni 30 abitanti, giri un angolo e seduti al baretto ti trovi un tizio biondo col martellone appoggiato a terra assieme a quell'altro con la tutina blu e le mutande sopra i pantaloni a prendere il caffè! E allora lascia perdere, cercati un lavoro normale, o magari... O magari... Prendi l'aereo e vattene in Spagna! Tu hai mai sentito parlare di un supereroe spagnolo? Io nemmeno! Là deve essere proprio una pacchia!

Questa è la premessa di Supercrooks, fumetto di Mark Millar pubblicato da Marvel-Icon che si infila nella sua sottoetichetta Millarworld assieme ai vari Nemesis, Kick-Ass, Superior e così via.

Un vecchio supercriminale viene beccato a barare alla roulette usando i poteri di un precog incosciente e si trova a dover ripagare il padrone del casinò con gli interessi, e allora contatta un po' di giovani cattivoni che gli devono un favore, prepara i passaporti falsi e via, si parte per l'Europa!

Peccato che la premessa del non ci sono supereroi in Spagna Millar se la dimentichi dopo giusto un numero e decida che l'obiettivo dei supercrooks sia il caveau di The Bastard, il supercriminale più famoso della storia che si gode la pensione vicino Madrid ed ha assunto come guardia del corpo un supereroe caduto in disgrazia...

Il fumetto buttandola giù semplice semplice è un Ocean's Eleven coi superpoteri con progettazione del piano, esecuzione in cui anche il tizio coi poteri più scrausi ha un ruolo determinante, e fuga. Come Millarata funziona anche meglio del solito, non perchè non ci siano le trovate da 15enne brufoloso (non che ci sia niente di male, se hai 15 anni ci sta che il supereroe ricchione che si cerca la scopata sulle chat o il tizio che fa scoppiare la testa alla gente col pensiero ti lascino wooooooooooooh, però ecco, a 25 inizia ad essere meh), ma essendo il fumetto molto breve, 4 numeri/90 pagine, finisce prima che ti vengano a noia.
Per la parte artistica Yu è il solito, bravo, Yu e quello che nel DNA gli manca in rappresentazione del gore lo recupera con le scene di gruppo, che sono uno dei suoi punti forti
Alla fine uno ne vuole sempre parlare un po' male dell'ultimo Mllar ma a sto giro non ce la faccio, gli è riuscito bene sto fumettino, è divertente, esagerato senza esagerare, bei dialoghi, bei disegni...

In una scala dei trattamenti medici che ti può assegnare il dottore, che va dallo scopi di più a voglio fare un gioco, si tagli la gamba con un seghetto arrugginito mwahahahahahahah, Supercrooks è una depilata preappendicite come nei telefilm americani, che pensi peggio, ma alla fine subito si fa, ricrescerà tutto, e la giovane infermiera che se n'è occupata era pure figa

Una voce per Ultron

Che allo spettatore medio Italiano non frega niente visto che lo vedrà doppiato magari da PINOINSEGNO o LUCAWARD o qualche altra rockstar del doppiaggio nostrana, però in america han trovato la voce di Ultron per il prossimo film degli Avengers, e sarà quella di James Spader, sto tizio qua 

che s'è fatto vecchio forte ma qualcuno se lo ricorda già archeologo spaziale in Stargate o a fare le sporcellate con Maggie Gyllenhaal in Secretary un pezzo prima che Bruce Wayne le mettesse gli occhi addosso.
